George Royale is a British singer, songwriter and musician who has been working in the Country, Rockabilly, Blues and Rock ‘n Roll genres for many years either solo or as part of a variety of collaborative projects.

George has had successful releases on labels such as Nub, Gee Whizz! and the legendary US label Lanark Records. George sites his influences as very broad but Sun Records artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis all rank very highly as do Buddy Holly and The Everly Brothers. His most loved Country singers apart from Cash are George Jones, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson along with Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters as the Blues masters.

Elements of all these legends and more are detectable in the music of George Royale and now he has joined forces with the esteemed Australian producer, songwriter and musician and fellow roots music enthusiast Paris Kis to become Boogie Merchants for a 24-track album of original instant Rock ‘n Roll classics called Old Skool 45’s and a 14-track album of fresh material which takes the essence of the blues in new as well as traditional directions called simply Them Blues.
